Health and Fitness programs provide students with instruction in the areas of health, physical education, recreation, and the exercise sciences. The courses are wide ranging, and give students the opportunity to develop their overall well-being while earning their degree. Students can prepare for careers in elementary and secondary education, coaching, recreational management, and the exercise sciences. Students also study anatomy, physiology, strength and conditioning, and sports psychology. Students are exposed to a vast array of physical exercises. They participate in lectures and laboratory classes, giving them a strong foundation in the field.
