Blue Cliff College Description
Founded in 1987, Blue Cliff College (BCC) is a school of nearly 500 students across four campuses in Louisiana and Mississippi. Blue Cliff offers diploma and associate's degree programs in massage therapy, medical assisting, and information technology. Diploma programs can be completed quickly, in as little as 9 months. Associate's degree programs can be completed in as little as 18 months. BCC's massage therapy programs were the first to be accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT) in both Louisiana and Mississippi. Blue Cliff also offers convenient day and evening schedules to accommodate students with substantial work and life commitments. Students can fit their studies into their schedules, and complete the education necessary to embark on a new and rewarding career quickly.
Blue Cliff College has a Program Participation Agreement with the US Department of Education allowing eligible students to receive federal aid such as Pell Grants. Additional aid options open to students of BCC include: grants, loans, state aid, Veterans (VA) benefits, and state vocational rehabilitation programs. Blue Cliff College offers the following student services: career planning and placement, student advising, and student resources such as tutoring and Internet access. Blue Cliff College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT). In addition, it is licensed by the Louisiana Board of Regents, and the State of Mississippi Commission on Proprietary School and College Registration. All of BCC's massage therapy classes are approved by the Louisiana Board of Massage Therapy, the Mississippi Board of Massage Therapy, and the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork for continuing education unit (CEU) credit.
