Briarcliffe College Description

Briarcliffe College is a school of over 1,400 students across two campuses on Long Island, New York. Both campuses are within an hour and fifteen minute drive from New York City. Briarcliffe College is committed to the ideal of maximizing human potential and to the pursuit of personal and professional growth for its students, faculty, and staff. Briarcliffe offers associate and bachelor degree programs in a broad range of disciplines. Some Briarcliffe degree programs can be completed in as little as 18 months. Briarcliffe College also offers flexible class schedules with classes being offered days, evenings or weekends. This allows Briarcliffe students to fit their education into busy work and life schedules.

Briarcliffe College has a Program Participation Agreement with the US Department of Education, allowing eligible students to receive federal aid such as Pell Grants. Additional aid options open to students of Briarcliffe College include: athletic scholarships, grants, loans, scholarships, state aid, and work/study programs. Briarcliffe also offers a 48-month tuition freeze to students who do not have any breaks in their attendance. Briarcliffe College offers the following student services: comprehensive career services helping graduates to find jobs and no-charge tutoring services. In addition, Briarcliffe also offers an online form for individuals to request, at no obligation, more information about their innovative programs. Briarcliffe College is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. In addition, the New York State Board of Regents also authorizes Briarcliffe to offer Diploma, Associate's degree, and Bachelor's degree programs. Briarcliffe College also has a Center For Professional Development that offers professional training and certification programs. The Center is a Microsoft Certified Partner, a Cisco Networking Academy, a CompTIA Learning Alliance Partner, a Pearson Vue Authorized Testing Center, and an ETA Authorized Testing Center.
