Founded in 1994, the California School of Culinary Arts (CSCA) is a culinary school of over 1,300 students located Pasadena, California. The campus in Pasadena is just 25 minutes from downtown Los Angeles. Los Angeles has one of the most innovative and dynamic restaurant scenes in the United States. CSCA is one of the few culinary schools in the United States to partner with the internationally renowned Le Cordon Bleu, one of the leading authorities on culinary techniques, training, and development. CSCA offers the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu Dīplome with all of its programs of study. The California School of Culinary Arts offers diplomas in Hospitality and Restaurant Management, or Pātisserie and Baking which can be completed in 12 months and 30 weeks respectively. They also offer a 15-month culinary arts associates degree.
The California School Of Culinary Arts features highly respected and experienced chef instructors, 30 teaching/lecture kitchen labs, nine classrooms, industry-current commercial equipment, and a Learning Resource Center which is a facility for both students and culinary professionals throughout Southern California that provides current information for food industry professionals. The California School of Culinary Arts has everything an individual needs to get the education to start them on an exciting career in the food service industry.
The California School of Culinary Arts has a Program Participation Agreement with the US Department of Education, allowing eligible students to receive federal aid such as Pell Grants. Additional aid options open to students of CSCA include: grants and loans. CSCA tuition planners are available to assist students through the financial aid application process.
