The Center for Digital Imaging Arts (CDIA) at Boston University offers comprehensive, hands-on training in state-of-the-art digital filmmaking and other digital imaging arts. The CDIA offers high school summer programs, workshops, foundation certificate programs (one semester), and certificate programs (two semesters) in digital filmmaking, photography, 3D animation, and graphic and interactive design. Programs are offered on a full time basis during the day, and on a part-time basis days and evenings. The CDIA's intensive academic model and hands-on instruction requires a very low student-to-instructor ratio of never more than 12 students to 1 instructor.
