Clayton College of Natural Health (CCNH) is a school of natural health located in Birmingham, Alabama. Birmingham, Alabama's largest city, is located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in central Alabama, an hour and a half north of the state capital, Montgomery.
Clayton College of Natural Health is one of the world’s leading colleges of natural health, traditional naturopathy and holistic nutrition. The mission of Clayton College of Natural Health is to teach each student how to be healthy and how to teach others to be healthy. CCNH offers certificate programs, bachelor's degrees, master's degrees, and doctoral degrees in a broad range of holistic, natural, and naturopathy disciplines. In addition, individuals can add optional concentrations include in either herbology or nutrition and lifestyles.
All of Clayton College of Natural Health's programs are completely self-paced so that individuals can study when and where they wish. A computer is helpful but not necessary. Students will not need a proctor, and do not have to complete any part of their program at Clayton College. Some of CCNH's programs require a consulting practicum. The recommended duration of the practicum is three months. The consulting practicum requires that the students “practice” providing assessment interviews with seven people. This gives students valuable "real-world" experience.
