Collins College Description

Collins College (CC) is a school of 2,000 students located in Tempe, Arizona. Collins also has an additional campus in northwest Phoenix. Collins College is committed to providing the technical training, development, and preparation necessary for graduates to succeed in their chosen areas of study. Collins offers associate and bachelor degree programs in areas such as visual communication, graphic design, multi media, web page design, animation, computer graphics, computer network technology, video game design, and media arts.

Collins College features small class sizes, instructors with real-world experience, hands-on training, a learning center where students can get extra help from professors and other classmates, and industry-current equipment and labs. Collins facilities include classrooms, computer labs, a digital print room, video editing bays, a photographic studio, library/student resource center, and a student store.

To maximize flexibility for working adults, Collins College has two convenient locations and offers day and evening classes. This flexibility allows students to obtain an education while tending to other substantial work and life responsibilities.

Collins College has a Program Participation Agreement with the US Department of Education for eligible students to receive Pell Grants and other federal aid (e.g., Direct Loans). Additional aid options open to students of Collins College include grants, loans, and work/study programs. Collins provides comprehensive career services helping students and graduates to find jobs and further their careers. The college is accessible to the handicapped.
