Founded in 1965, Colorado Technical University (CTU) is a career-oriented school of over 3,400 students located across three campuses in Colorado, a campus in Missouri, and a campus in South Dakota. The mission of CTU is to is to provide a career-oriented education by teaching applied, real-world, industry-current programs, and servicing the needs of students for employment and career advancement. Colorado Technical University offers associate, bachelor, master, and doctoral degree programs in a broad range of disciplines. CTU's Kansas City location also offers certificate and diploma programs. Most degree programs include professional certificates. To provide the highest quality education, all CTU courses are taught by professors - not teaching assistants.
At CTU, students can complete their degree program quickly allowing them to enter new and rewarding careers more rapidly. Associate degree programs can be completed in as little as 18 months, bachelor degree programs in as little as 36 months, and master degree programs in as little at 16 months.
To maximize flexibility for working adults, Colorado Technical University has many convenient locations and offers day classes, night classes, weekend classes, online classes, and hybrid online/classroom classes. This flexibility allows students to obtain an education while tending to other substantial work and life responsibilities.
Colorado Technical University has a Program Participation Agreement with the US Department of Education for eligible students to receive Pell Grants and other federal aid (e.g., Direct Loans).
