ECPI Description

ECPI is a school with over 5,000 students across eleven campuses in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and an online university. ECPI is committed to providing the faculty, environment, and equipment necessary to keep its students in step with today's workplace.

ECPI provides degree and diploma programs in technology, business, and health sciences. IT certification training is also available. Some of the Bachelor degree programs can be completed in less than three years, allowing students to embark on their new career more quickly than traditional programs.

ECPI offers the convenience of day and evening on-campus classes, as well as online classes. With ECPI, it could not be easier for individuals with substantial work and life commitments to obtain the education necessary to start a new career or further an existing career.

ECPI has a Program Participation Agreement with the US Department of Education for eligible students to receive Pell Grants and other federal aid (e.g., Direct Loans). Additional aid options open to qualifying students of ECPI include grants, job location and development programs, loans, military tuition assistance, work/study programs, and Veterans Administration (VA) benefits.

Student services offered by ECPI include: alumni discounts on certification training, career services, and student discounts on certification exams. In addition, ECPI also offers an online form for individuals to request, at no obligation, more information about their innovative programs. ECPI College of Technology is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award Bachelor of Science, Associate of Science, and Associate of Applied Science degrees. In Virginia, ECPI has a Certificate to Operate an Institution of Higher Education issued by the State Council of Higher Education. In North Carolina, ECPI is licensed by the North Carolina State Board of Community Colleges to award diplomas and is licensed by the Board of Governors of the University of North Carolina to award Associate of Applied Science degrees. The Raleigh and Charlotte campuses of ECPI have also been granted initial approval for a Practical Nursing education program by the North Carolina Board of Nursing. In South Carolina, ECPI is licensed by the South Carolina Commission on Higher Education to award Associate of Applied Science degrees and diplomas.
