Edinburgh Business School Description

Founded in 1990, the Edinburgh Business School (EBS) is part of Heriot-Watt University. Heriot-Watt University is based in Edinburgh Scotland. The Edinburgh Business School has an enrollment of over 9,000 MBA students from over 150 countries. EBS offers one of the most popular distance learning MBA programs in the world (it was ranked the second largest in the world in a March 2003 survey by the Financial Times). The main focus of the School is to provide applied management programs to individual students and major corporations.

The Edinburgh Business School allows students to earn a postgraduate certificate and postgraduate diploma as they progress toward their MBA. EBS also offers an online DBA program. The Edinburgh Business School offers the flexibility of allowing either program to be completed online, on-campus, or at an approved support center.

The Edinburgh Business School's online programs are completed in self-study mode. Self-study combines specially designed learning texts with online interaction and web-based feedback.
