Harris School Description

Founded in 1965, Harris School is a school of nearly 200 students located in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Cherry Hill is located in west/central New Jersey, about a 15 minute drive east of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Harris School is dedicated to providing students with quality training and the necessary skills and knowledge to obtain administrative support positions that lead to successful careers in the business and/or professional world.

The Harris School offers six programs in business, healthcare, and technology related fields. Some programs can be completed in as little as four months. Harris also offers the convenience of day and evening classes. This flexibility makes it easy for individuals with substantial work and life commitments to obtain the education necessary to start a new career.

In the past, the Harris School has received recognition for the excellence of its programs from the New Jersey Department of Labor, including: "Training Institution of the Year," Camden County Workforce Development Program; "Training Institution of the Year," Gloucester County Workforce Development Program; and a "Commissioner's Citation".

The Harris School has a Program Participation Agreement with the US Department of Education for eligible students to receive Pell Grants and other federal aid (e.g., Direct Loans). Additional aid options open to qualifying students of the Harris School include grants, loans, scholarships, and work/study programs.

The Harris School offers graduate placement assistance helping graduates to obtain employment.
