Indiana Business College Description

Founded in 1902, Indiana Business College (IBC) is a school of over 3,500 students across nine campuses in Indiana. IBC provides concentrated, career-oriented, college level training to students from a cross-section of academic and economic backgrounds.

Indiana Business College programs provide the skills that are critical for one to succeed in today’s highly competitive job market. IBC offers certificate, diploma, and associate degree programs in over 20 programs of study in business, criminal justice, healthcare, legal, and technology. All programs are designed with the input of key business and corporate professionals who have identified what it takes to be successful within a chosen career field. IBC programs are also designed to be completed quickly. At IBC, students can earn an associate's degree in as little as 18 months, or a Diploma in as few as 12 months.

Indiana Business College also offers the convenience and flexibility of 100% online programs. Eight associate degree programs are offered through IBC Online. The flexibility of online degree programs makes it easy for individuals with substantial work and life commitments to obtain the education necessary to start a new career or further an existing career.

Indiana Business College has a Program Participation Agreement with the US Department of Education for eligible students to receive Pell Grants and other federal aid (e.g., Direct Loans). Additional aid options open to qualifying students of IBC include employer reimbursement programs, grants, loans, scholarships, state aid, work/study programs, and veterans benefits.

Indiana Business College offers career services to help students and graduates to obtain employment. Indiana Business College is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) to award Certificates, Diplomas and Associate of Applied Science Degrees. Indiana Business College Medical Assisting programs are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) on the recommendation of the committee on Accreditation for Medical Assistant Education. The Indiana Business College is also a Microsoft IT Academy, a Cisco Networking Academy, and one of the only Transcender Training Partners in Indiana.
