International College of Hospitality Management Description

The International College of Hospitality Management (ICHM) is a small school of nearly 100 students located in Suffield, Connecticut. Suffield is a 25 minute drive north of Hartford. ICHM is the only college in the United States that offers the world-renowned Swiss César Ritz program. ICHM enhances the program by also teaching modern American management techniques. ICHM believes that excellence in hospitality management requires the full understanding of hospitality disciplines and the breadth of knowledge and personal insight that only a liberal arts education can provide.

The International College of Hospitality Management offers three carefully designed programs to meet a student's individual needs and career aspirations. All programs are accelerated, meaning that students earn their credentials sooner and therefore begin working sooner. The Associate of Science Degree in Hospitality Management Program can be completed in two years. The Certificate in Hospitality Management Program can be completed in one year. ICHM also offers a unique Concentration in Events Management program that can be completed in one term. ICHM programs include coursework, practical experience, and two paid internships at prestigious hotels, restaurants, resorts and hospitality-related businesses in the United States and abroad.
