Las Vegas College Description

Founded in 1979, Las Vegas College is a school of approximately 200 students located in Henderson, Nevada. The mission of Las Vegas College is to provide students of all ages with the practical skills, education, and training necessary to excel in their chosen fields.

Las Vegas College offers diploma and associate degree programs. 19 different programs are offered in fields of study that focus on industries that offer solid, long-term career opportunities for graduates. Las Vegas College programs feature small class sizes, hands-on training, instructors with real-world experience in their fields, modern equipment, and a learning center where students can receive extra help from professors.

To maximize flexibility, Las Vegas College offers classes days, evenings, and online. This flexibility makes it easy for individuals with substantial work and life commitments to obtain the education necessary to start a new career or to further an existing career.

Las Vegas College has a Program Participation Agreement with the US Department of Education for eligible students to receive Pell Grants and other federal aid (e.g., Direct Loans). Additional aid options open to qualifying students of Las Vegas College include grants, loans, scholarships, state aid, work/study programs, and Veterans Affairs (VA) benefits.
