The Marine Mechanics Institute (MMI) is part of Universal Technical Institute, Inc. It is located in Orlando, Florida. The Marine Mechanics Institute offers six different programs of study that focus on hands-on and classroom training. Students learn the fundamentals of operation, practical applications, and technical aspects of each system, ending with the latest available technology and service procedures. At MMI, individuals can train to be a marine technician and launch their career in as little as 60 weeks.

Students of the Marine Mechanics Institute who require financial assistance with their tuition may be eligible for Federal aid programs. Additional aid options open to qualifying students of MMI include grants, loans, work/study programs, and Veterans Affairs (VA) benefits.
