Minnesota School of Business Description

Founded in 1877, the Minnesota School of Business (MSB) is a school of over 2,000 students across seven campuses. MSB is dedicated to providing specialized career training in high demand fields.

The Minnesota School of Business offers diploma, associate, and bachelor degree programs in business, health sciences, computer imaging, and information technology. In total, MSB offers 18 different programs of study in high demand fields that offer strong long-term employment opportunities.. All MSB programs feature small class sizes, hands-on training, and professional instructors with extensive experience.

The Minnesota School of Business offers flexible class scheduling to accommodate academic and individual needs. Classes are offered both day and evening for full-time and part-time students. Many classes are also offered online, and four degree programs are also offered completely online. This flexibility makes it easy for individuals with substantial work and life commitments to obtain the education necessary to start a new career or to further an existing career.

The Minnesota School of Business has a Program Participation Agreement with the US Department of Education for eligible students to receive Pell Grants and other federal aid (e.g., Direct Loans). Additional aid options open to qualifying students of MSB include grants, loans, scholarships, state aid, work/study programs, and Veterans Affairs (VA) benefits.

The Minnesota School of Business offers the following student services: alumni services and career placement services to help students and graduates to obtain jobs. The Minnesota School of Business is nationally accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools to award diplomas, Associate in Applied Science degrees, and Bachelor of Science degrees. The Minnesota School of Business and Globe College Medical Assisting programs are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs upon the recommendation of the Curriculum Review board of the American Association of Medical Assistants Endowment (AAMAE).
