NASCAR Technical Institute Description

The NASCAR Technical Institute (NTI) is part of Universal Technical Institute, Inc. It is located in Mooresville, North Carolina. Mooresville is approximately a 35 minute drive north of Charlotte. The NASCAR Technical Institute is the first technical training school in the United States to combine a complete automotive technology program with a NASCAR-specific motor sports program. NTI is the exclusive educational partner of NASCAR.

The NASCAR Technical Institute provides course work in engine construction, electrical, fuel and lubrication systems, drive trains, body and chassis fabrication and racing theory principles. In addition, students will learn the history and rules and regulations of NASCAR. NTI's program features hands-on training, small class sizes, and modern facilities. NTI also offers elite, tuition-paid manufacturer-specific advanced training programs. These programs are available to graduates who qualify, based upon manufacturer selection.

Universal Technical Institute has a Program Participation Agreement with the US Department of Education for eligible students of the NASCAR Technical Institute to receive Pell Grants and other federal aid (e.g., Direct Loans). Additional aid options open to qualifying students of NTI include grants, loans, work/study programs, and Veterans Affairs (VA) benefits.

The NASCAR Technical Institute offers the following student services: alumni services, career services, housing services, and student support services.
