National Holistic Institute Description

The National Holistic Institute (NHI) is a school of massage therapy with three campuses in California. NHI's Massage Therapy program gives students the skills that they will need for success in the rapidly growing, dynamic profession of massage therapy.

The program at the National Holistic Institute focuses on massage theory and practice, practical hands-on experience, and career development. The training includes work in the Institute's student clinic, and an externship. NHI’s education is broad and thorough, covering all facets of the massage therapy industry. The program can also be completed in as little as 12 months.

For added convenience, National Holistic Institute offers flexible course schedules, including daytime, evening and weekend schedules. This flexibility makes it easy for individuals with substantial work and life commitments to obtain the education they need to start a new career in massage therapy.

The National Holistic Institute has a Program Participation Agreement with the US Department of Education for eligible students to receive Pell Grants and other federal aid (e.g., Direct Loans). Additional aid options open to qualifying students of NAU include grants, loans, and work/study programs.

The National Holistic Institute offers the following student services: academic support services, alumni services, career services, and housing assistance services. The National Holistic Institute is nationally accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training. NHI was the first accredited massage therapy school in California. NHI is also a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) Council of Schools.
