A Foundation of Tradition and Support

New England College was founded in 1946 in Henniker, New Hampshire, to meet the educational needs of servicemembers returning home from World War II. NEC welcomed its first class of 67 men and one woman that year. Over the next 70 years, the college grew, attracting students from all walks of life and adding new programs, faculty and campus facilities.

Special military rates

Undergraduate

We offer a special undergraduate tuition rate of $750 per 4-credit course for active-duty servicemembers, including selected Reservists and National Guard members, and their spouses and dependents. That represents a 50% savings on tuition.

Additionally, a 10% tuition savings is available for veterans, Reservists, Guardsmen and their spouses, as well as for dependents of disabled or deceased veterans.
