Platt College San Diego was founded in 1980. It is located in San Diego, California. The mission of Platt College San Diego is to identify the natural talents of its students and build those talents into strengths that will serve as personal assets in a career-oriented society.

Platt College facilities consist of 16,700 square feet of classrooms, library, administration area, and computer labs. Platt College San Diego consistently updates equipment and software to remain current with technologically advanced industries.

Platt College offers diploma, specialized diploma, associate degree, and bachelor degree programs in nine high-demand areas of study including media arts, multi-media, graphic design, and digital video production.

Platt College offers comprehensive career services through its Career Services Department. Platt College has a Program Participation Agreement with the US Department of Education for eligible students to receive Pell Grants and other federal aid (e.g., Direct Loans).
