Robert Morris College Description

Robert Morris College (RMC) is a school of over 5,500 students with its main campus located in Chicago, and six other campuses and an extension site also located in Illinois. The mission of Robert Morris College is to offer applied education to under served communities.

Robert Morris College offers associate and bachelor degree programs. In total, RMC offers 15 programs of study in high-demand fields. RMC has associate degree programs that can be completed in as little as 15 months, and bachelor degree programs that can be completed in as little as three years. RMC also offers a study abroad program that allows students to study abroad in London, England; Vienna, Austria; or Florence, Italy.

Robert Morris College also has a Federally funded "Running Start" program that allows high school students to earn college credit beginning as early as the first semester of a student's junior year in high school.

To provide maximum convenience for working adults, Robert Morris College offers many convenient locations and flexible course schedules. This flexibility makes it easier for students with other work and life responsibilities to obtain the education necessary to start an exciting new career or further an existing career.

Robert Morris College offers the following student services: academic advising services, alumni services through the Office of Alumni Affairs, athletics, clubs and organizations, comprehensive career services, events and activities, an honors program, a fitness center, student support services, transit passes, and tutoring. In addition, RMC also offers an online form for individuals to request, at no obligation, more information about their innovative programs. Robert Morris College has a Program Participation Agreement with the US Department of Education for eligible students to receive Pell Grants and other federal aid (e.g., Direct Loans). Additional aid options open to qualifying students of RMC include grants, loans, scholarships, state aid, Veterans Affairs (VA) benefits, and work/study programs.

Robert Morris College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association. RMC also holds other approvals and program-specific accreditations.
