The Schuylkill Institute of Business and Technology (SIBT) was was founded in 1977 as the Schuylkill Business Institute. It is a school of over 100 students located in Pottsville, Pennsylvania. SIBT provides career education that is responsive to the changing needs of business and industry.

The Schuylkill Institute of Business and Technology offers diploma and associate degree programs in high-demand fields of study. In total, SIBT offers ten different programs of study. Diploma programs can be completed in as little as nine months. Most associate degree programs can be completed in as little as 18 months. SIBT makes it easy for an individual to quickly obtain the education necessary to start a new career or further an existing career.
