Founded in 1892, Spencerian College is a school of over 1,500 students with two campuses in Kentucky. The mission of Spencerian College is to provide men and women with quality training for careers in the business, technical, and healthcare professions.
Spencerian College offers high-demand programs in business and healthcare through its School of Business Administration and School of Allied Health Sciences. These schools offer 23 different programs that grant certificate, diploma, or associate degrees. The School of Business Administration offers six high-demand programs, and the School of Allied Health Sciences offers an additional 17 high-demand programs. Spencerian certificate programs can be completed in as little as 6 months, diploma programs in as little as 9 months, and associate degree programs in 18 to 27 months.
Spencerian College also offers the convenience of day and evening courses. This makes it much easier for individuals with substantial work and life commitments to obtain the education they need to start a new career or further an existing career.
Spencerian College offers the following student support services: alumni services, academic advisement, a bookstore, career services, financial planning services, an orientation, student housing, student organizations and activities, and a weekly newsletter. Spencerian College has a Program Participation Agreement with the US Department of Education for eligible students to receive Pell Grants and other federal aid (e.g., Direct Loans). Additional aid options open to qualifying students of Spencerian include grants, loans, scholarships, state aid, Veterans Administration (VA) benefits, and work/study programs.
Spencerian College is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools to award certificates, diplomas, and associate degrees. Spencerian also has numerous other, program-specific, accreditations and approvals.
