Founded in 1892, Strayer University is a multi-campus school with 30 campuses in Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., as well as online. Combined, Strayer campuses serve over 23,000 students. Strayer University is dedicated to helping busy, working adults further their education by providing a variety of education options to ensure that they can reach their goals.
Strayer University offers certificate, diploma, and associate degree, bachelor degree, and masters degree programs in high demand fields such as accounting, business, education, general studies, health services administration, information technology, public administration, and more. At Strayer, students can complete a degree or quickly gain marketable skills and specialized knowledge through a six to 12-course certificate or diploma program.
In addition, Strayer University offers online courses and complete degree programs via the Internet. Strayer offers over 35 certificate, diploma, associate's, bachelor's, and master's programs online. Strayer provides the added convenience of offering both synchronous real-time online courses and asynchronous courses that students can attend on their own schedule. This flexibility makes it easy for individuals with substantial work and life commitments to obtain the education they need to start a new career or further an existing career.
Strayer University provides comprehensive career services to help students obtain employment. Ninety-two percent of Strayer alumni with a bachelor's degree and 91% with a graduate degree are employed full time.
