Technology Education College (TEC) was founded in 1965 as the Electronics Computer Programming Institute of Columbus. Today, TEC is owned by Kaplan Higher Education Corporation. TEC is a school of approximately 500 students located in Columbus, Ohio. The mission of Technology Education College is to provide quality programs that integrate the curricula with professional skill development, empowering students to achieve their lifelong personal and professional goals.

Technology Education College offers four programs of study in high-demand fields, including: computer applications, criminal justice, medical assisting, and pharmacy technician. For day students, the pharmacy technician program can be competed in under a year, and the other programs can be completed in a little over a year. Teaching techniques employed in the programs encourage active student participation and may include group discussions and projects, laboratory work, simulations, demonstrations, field trips, guest speakers and lectures

Technology Education College offers the the following student services: career services, graduate refresher courses, guidance services, and tutoring services. In addition, Technology Education College also offers an online form for individuals to request, at no obligation, more information about their innovative programs.
