The Universal Technical Institute (UTI) consists of the following four schools: the Universal Technical Institute, the NASCAR Technical Institute, the Marine Mechanics Institute, and the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute. Combined, the four schools that make up UTI have eight campuses across the United States.
The Universal Technical Institute provides mechanics or technician training. Through its four schools, the Universal Technical Institute offers programs in the following: automotive and diesel technology, automotive collision repair, NASCAR training for entry-level technicians, motorcycle mechanics programs, and marine mechanics programs. In these programs, students learn the fundamentals of operation, practical applications, and technical aspects of each system and discipline to prepare them for a rewarding career as a maintenance technician. All programs feature extensive hands-on training.
The Universal Technical Institute offers career placement services to help graduates obtain employment. In addition, UTI also offers an online form for individuals to request, at no obligation, more information about their innovative technician programs. The Universal Technical Institute has a Program Participation Agreement with the US Department of Education for eligible students to receive Pell Grants and other federal aid (e.g., Direct Loans). Additional aid options open to qualifying students of UTI include grants, loans, scholarships, Veterans Affairs (VA) benefits, and work/study programs.
The Universal Technical Institute is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology. UTI also has numerous other industry affiliations and certifications.
