The University of Louisville is a school of over 20,000 students located in Louisville, Kentucky. The mission of the University of Louisville is to be a premier, nationally-recognized, metropolitan research university committed to advancing the intellectual, cultural and economic development of our diverse communities and citizens through the pursuit of excellence in five interrelated strategic areas: (1) educational experience, (2) research, creative, and scholarly activity, (3) accessibility, diversity, equity, and communication, (4) partnerships and collaborations, and (5) institutional effectiveness of programs and services.

The University of Louisville consists of 11 colleges and schools across three campuses. Combined, these colleges and schools offer over 70 undergraduate degree programs, and over 60 graduate and professional programs.

The University of Louisville has a complete offering of IT certification courses to help busy information technology professionals gain the expertise and certification that they need to further their careers. These programs use the University's blended learning model (BLM) that combines the best components of instructor-led training with the best of Technology-Based Training. BLM makes use of four learning methodologies: technology-based training, one-on-one mentoring, hands-on labs, and written materials.
