Founded in 1842, Villanova University is a school of over 10,000 students located in Villanova, Pennsylvania. Villanova University is an independent coeducational institute of higher learning founded by the Augustinian Order of the Roman Catholic Church.

Villanova University consists of 5 schools and colleges that offer undergraduate, graduate and professional degrees. These schools and colleges include the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the College of Commerce and Finance, the College of Engineering, the College of Nursing, and the School of Law. Villanova is very highly regarded and was ranked the number one master's university in the North by U.S. News and World Report in its "America's Best Colleges 2006" rankings.
