WyoTech Description

WyoTech is a multi-campus institution with six campuses across the United States in California, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Wyoming. WyoTech is part of Corinthian Colleges, Inc. (CCI), who operate over 140 colleges and corporate education centers in the United States and Canada.

WyoTech programs emphasize real-world education that is tailored to meet the needs of potential employers. The fields of study focus on industries that offer solid, long-term career opportunities for graduates. WyoTech offers programs of study in auto body, auto technology, aviation, diesel, HVAC, and plumbing. All programs are designed to provide quality education that emphasizes practical skills and hands-on experience. WyoTech programs balance student time between the classroom and the shop so that the theory that students learn in class can be applied directly to the equipment in shop situations. In addition, students will be expected to adhere to a professional code, modeled after what industry employers will expect on the job.

WyoTech maintains an active placement service to assist graduates in locating entry-level, educationally related career opportunities. WyoTech has a Program Participation Agreement with the US Department of Education for eligible students to receive Pell Grants and other federal aid (e.g., Direct Loans). Additional aid options open to qualifying students of WyoTech include grants, loans, scholarships, and work/study programs.
